As a registered Level 4 counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), Evon brings extensive experience from diverse settings —Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), non-profit organisations addressing social adversity, and previously in the government sectors in South East Asia. At EM8RACE Counselling, her approach is tailored to each client's unique needs, emphasising the importance of education and early intervention.
Her area of support includes:-
1. Grief and Loss;
2. General well being (self esteem, motivation);
3. Social adversity challenges;
4. Couple counselling; and
5. Immigrants adjusting to culture expectation.
Beyond counselling, Evon is a registered Supervisor (level 4) with the ACA's College of Supervisors.
Evon provides supervision and tailored support to experienced or entry level EAP consultants. She understands the unique challenges of the EAP setting—such as short-term interventions, high client turnover, and workplace dynamics—and offers practical, culturally sensitive guidance that helps consultants navigate complex cases with clarity and confidence. Through reflective practice and strengths-based feedback, Evon supports EAP professionals in maintaining resilience, enhancing clinical effectiveness, and upholding the highest standards of care.
